CELEBRATE : Month 6 Scrapbook

Hola !! Oh february… you were full of so much joy !! From the trips to the beach, street evangelism in San Jose, planning a Valentine’s Day party – it was packed full of things to celebrate !! 

 

Our walk home from Walmart 😉 Every weekend we make our own food as a team !! Meal prepping with 5 other ladies can sometimes be hard but also really fun to go to the store and spend time in the kitchen !! 

 

Here’s the inside of the bright yellow bus that we take to ministry every day !!

 

Waves of Grace is a ministry that we have here where they make BEAUTIFUL BRACELETS !! Here’s one of the patterns that they taught me. It took me a few tries but I finally got it down:)

 

This is where “Till He Returns” is located in San Jose !! Through that black door is where we spend most of our time:) we can watch the train go by all day long

The boys team moved out of their room for a month and stayed off base so we got to use their room as an extra space !! It was wonderful to sit in a quiet room and watch the sun rise while I read my bible 🙂

 

BEACH DAY !!

 

On the way to the beach, we stopped at a bridge that had MASSIVE crocodiles beneath it !!

Valentine’s Day !! We had dinner as a whole squad to celebrate God’s love for us!!

This is the PPC !! Hailey, Brent, and I are the party planning committee !! We had such a blast planning Valentine’s Day for the squad !! Big fan of these people !!

Beach day part 2 !! Our whole squad got to take an adventure day to Manuel Antonio – a national park here in Costa Rica. The waters were so blue and our skin was so red by the end of the day:)

 

Girls night out !! Once a week we had a “fun team time” where we get to do something fun together !! We decided to go to a sports bar and get some really good American food !!

Here’s a sneak peak into ministry !! We hosted a Women’s Retreat over the course of two weekends. One week I was able to lead a session with Emma Lou and another weekend I played with some sweet kiddos while their mamas were in sessions. One of the girls started singing a beautiful song for us once we got the guitar out !!

 

Then a sad ending to this month was saying goodbye to our wonderful base interns – Jezie and Kacie !! They were such an amazing addition to our squad. Here’s a picture of our team right before they left. So thankful to have women like them to bless our lives !! 

 

And that wraps up February…only one more month left in Costa Rica !!

But the good news is… we know what country we are going to next 

 

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC HERE WE COME !!
